This game has so much potential and I love the idea and aspect of it. I find it kinda hard to run all the time back and forth to get stuff. Also can u save the game? I couldnt find a option to save....

keep up the work, it has huge potential and it is a great game so far. Amazing work so far!

Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to leave feedback.

The save system works similar to Harvest Moon. Your progress is saved when you go to bed. If you played through the tutorial questline(quest 4, i think), there is a hint about this when you place your first bed. You can go to bed and save roughly every 18 minutes, which is the time from sunrise to sundown in-game. Starting without a bed and needing to craft one first is not ideal, and I plan to improve that in future versions.

As for the back-and-forth walking, I completely agree that it is not very fun right now. Once you have bought some servants, you can have them follow you and use them as mobile inventory. They also have a dialogue option to deliver their items to your main storage room, which helps reduce the running.

The current world is more of a test environment to see how systems work together. A lot of things will be adjusted and improved as development continues.

Thanks again for your support. It really means a lot.

I have only played for about an hour, but I can say with all confidence that this is now my favorite game. This is so fantastic, truly. One person?! TWO YEARS?! That's love and I can see it all over while playing. The menu and loading screens are beautiful to look at, I didn't mind staring at the loading screen one bit. It's really a feast for the eyes.

I played the game on all highest settings. It is astounding. The models are great quality, particularly the architecture, which is fun to walk around and admire.

Many people I spoke to had the usual asking for directions type interactions (which is quite helpful), but I have met a good handful of characters with unique and interesting dialogue. I can't wait to explore more of the social aspect.

I have played only a bit of my way into the storyline thus far, as I am relishing every single sweet, sweet aspect, but so far, the mechanics are working as intended and I have encountered no bugs or glitches. I am about to collect the six cloths.

I might be biased, as my favorite game was (seriously until I played this game, no joke) Spartacus Legends. My only wish was an exploration and social aspect and here we are!

What a wonderful game. Great job.

Hey, thank you so much for your comment!

I am really happy to hear that you had a positive first impression while exploring.

It always bothered me that most gladiator games focus too much on the fighters and their battles, while everything around them gets little attention. Especially in Spartacus, I really enjoyed the relationships between the Romans and always wished for a game where you could actually experience that side of the story.

Gopa is still in its early stages, but I hope to expand the social aspect so that it becomes really fun, letting you influence the fate of the city through your actions and intrigues, just like good old Batiatus would.

I would love to hear your feedback again once you have built up your Ludus and experienced your first fights.
Especially if you had any problems or if you have ideas for improvements.

Thanks again for playing!
