Patch 00.03.00 is Out! Plus a Sneak Peek at 00.04.00
Patch 00.03.00
Features:
- Added seven new weapons.
- Added six new armors.
- Requirements for weapons, shields, and equipment have been added.
- You can now select one of your companions while shopping for equipment to compare the item's requirements with those of the companion.
Changes:
- Updated engine from version 5.4.2 to 5.4.3.
- Updated Plants versions.
- Overhauled order view.
- Improved ability info window.
- Increased light from lamps.
- Updated sky.
- Reduced space requirement from 17 GB to 8 GB. Due to the restructuring of the project, unfortunately, save games from version 00.02.00 will no longer be compatible.
- Removed red background from the manager widget.
- Servants now only collect water in the morning.
- Critical hit chance has been reworked and reduced by 20%. If you previously had a 10% chance, you now have an 8% chance.
- The critical hit multiplier has been adjusted. The multiplier could cause less damage than a normal hit. A critical hit now always deals at least 1.5 damage. If the multiplier is higher than 1.5, that value will be used. It will never be below 1.5 unless affected by a debuff.
Fixes:
- Recipes are now loaded correctly.
- Fixed pathfinding for NPCs on sidewalks.
- Fixed an issue where unequipping an item after loading a game was not possible.
- Fixed a bug where NPCs had an inventory capacity of 1000 after loading a game.
Sneak Peek 00.04.00:
Patch 00.04.00 will focus on setting up the Ludus and providing the first opportunities for that. This update will introduce a system to assign tasks to rooms within the Ludus, such as designating a kitchen, study room, or other functional spaces. Additionally, you'll be able to place facilities and furnish these rooms with the necessary items.
Managing the rooms in the Ludus will be a crucial part of the preparation for various activities. Some of the key rooms you can set up and manage include:
- Sleeping Quarters: Designate spaces for rest and recovery.
- Research Rooms: Equip areas for conducting research and development.
- Crafting Rooms: Prepare rooms for crafting and creating new items.
- Medical Rooms: Set up medical facilities to care for your companions.
- Dining Room: Create a communal space for meals and gatherings.
- Study Room: Establish areas for learning and skill development.
- Kitchen: Set up a kitchen to prepare food and manage provisions.
As you equip and organize the Ludus, you will be laying the groundwork for these future activities. More details about these systems will be shared in separate devlogs.
